We are hiring

Senior Producer

Full-time

Buenos Aires · Hybrid

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Producer who thrives in early-stage startup environments and brings deep fluency in video game development. You will manage external development partnerships end-to-end: running RFP processes, embedding with client teams, navigating multi-stakeholder relationships, and ensuring that projects ship on time and on budget.

This is not a traditional project management role. You will represent CDR directly with clients and development partners, often as the primary point of contact. You need sharp instincts for scoping, negotiation, and conflict resolution. And the confidence to operate autonomously.

CDR’s production team is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. You will collaborate directly with US-based founders and leadership, and your voice will shape how we deliver for clients and grow as a company.

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as the primary bridge between clients and external development partners, managing expectations and resolving misalignments on both sides.
  • Embed with client teams as an extension of their production organization, providing hands-on operational support.
  • Own CDR procurement processes from start to finish: scoping requirements, distributing to qualified studios, leveling bids, and guiding clients to the right partner.
  • Handle disputes, change orders, milestone reviews, and contract enforcement with professionalism and good judgment.
  • Proactively identify risks, flag issues early, and propose solutions before they escalate.
  • Improve CDR’s internal systems, processes, and documentation to make production more efficient and repeatable.
  • Run client-facing meetings independently, owning the relationship and the outcomes.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in video game production or external development management.
  • Deep understanding of game development cycles, pipelines, and dependencies across disciplines (art, design, engineering, QA).
  • Experience running or participating in external development partnerships.
  • Strong client-facing skills: you can facilitate multi-stakeholder conversations, manage misaligned expectations, and navigate tension with diplomacy.
  • Fluency with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Comfortable using AI tools day-to-day to optimize workflows.
  • Professional-level written and spoken English.

Additional Requirements

  • Proven ability to run complex, multi-party production processes with minimal oversight.
  • Track record of managing scope, timelines, and budgets across external partnerships.
  • Excellent judgment in high-ambiguity situations where you must balance competing interests.
  • Strong communicator who takes feedback well and leads without ego.
  • Willing to roll up your sleeves and jump in on any task. In a team this size, no job is too small.

Great to Have

  • Familiarity with contract negotiation, SOWs, and change order management.
  • Track record of dropping into unfamiliar production environments and becoming useful fast, without waiting for perfect context.
  • Experience working in fast-moving startup environments or similarly ownership-driven roles.

Work Environment & Benefits

  • All government-declared holidays.
  • Flexible leave policy.
  • Hybrid work model — workweek split between office and remote.
  • Access to cutting-edge tooling. Whatever you need to do your best work.

What Success Looks Like

  • Clients and providers trust you as their primary point of contact, and relationships strengthen under your management.
  • You catch problems early, propose solutions, and handle disputes before they reach leadership.
  • CDR’s production systems and documentation improve tangibly because of your contributions.
  • You independently run processes end to end such as RFPs from scoping through partner selection without hand-holding.
