Two Years of CDR

by

Happy Holidays! CDR turns two years old today, which has me thinking about the early chapters of my own career and the moments that shaped how I see company building.

I often get asked about my Twitch experience and what it was like to be part of a team that went from product launch to billion dollar exit.

My answer is simple: building a company feels a lot like hiking up a mountain. In the moment, all you are doing is taking one step after another, heads down and focused on whatever is directly in front of you.

But then you get to an objective: be it a pass, a summit, or simply a clearing with a view. And in that moment, when you look back down the valley, it feels genuinely surprising how far you’ve come.

CDR feels no different. And with that in mind, I wanted to take a moment to look back and reflect on everything we accomplished at CDR in 2025:

  • Suppored the distribution of over one million dollars in games services spend
  • Earned our first game credits across several projects we supported
  • Took part in three incredible product launches
  • Introduced Prime Contracting, simplifying vendor operations for our clients
  • Launched our Contract Lifecycle Management system and rolled it out across a dozen active projects
  • Made our CLM great by completing over a dozen feature sprints and hundreds of polish tasks
  • Produced and successfully shipped our first Production Services client’s title.
  • Passed 2,500 providers hand-cataloged in our vendor database
  • Attended more than a dozen conferences across four continents and eight countries
  • Held two company offsites

None of this happens without the studios, founders and partners who trusted us with their projects. Thank you to everyone who let us be part of your work this year and to every early adopter who pushed our tools and processes forward.

Most of all, thanks for the relationships we got to deepen and the ones we got to start. This industry runs on people who care about craft and collaboration, and it has been a privilege to support that.
